Our wood is soft to the touch, but sturdy. The two rings and third uniquely designed toy ring add a nice touch to its textured look and sound. The rattle has been sanded down with multiple grades to add a soft finish that will not have splinters.

Cleaning Instructions:
Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not wet or wash it as this will cause the wood to warp as it's not treated with anything to protect against water. If you feel the need to add oil to it, ensure it is food safe oil like Coconut Oil, or beeswax all at your own risk.

Before each use check for signs of wear and tear. Keep out of reach of young children as there are small parts that could become a choking hazard. Do not leave the item on or with a sleeping or unsupervised baby and never use it in a crib, travel yard, bed, or whenever they are out of your sight without supervision to avoid strangulation or suffocation.
